Union Home Minister Amit Shah to Lay Foundation Stone for BJP’s New Office in Tripura

Agartala: Dec 19: On December 22, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will lay the foundation stone for the construction of the BJP’s state-of-the-art office in Tripura. This new four-story building, equipped with modern amenities, will be built near the New Nagar area of the Barjala Assembly constituency in Agartala. The office will be constructed on a two-kanal plot of land, and the inauguration will include both the foundation stone laying and a ceremonial ground-breaking event.

Today, the BJP’s District President of West Tripura, Ashim Bhattacharya, along with Barjala Mandal President Mukul Roy and other BJP workers, visited the site for the office construction. During a press interaction, Ashim Bhattacharya mentioned that the new state office would feature a guesthouse and parking facilities for visitors. He confirmed that Chief Minister Manik Saha, along with the state BJP President and other party leaders, would attend the foundation stone laying ceremony on December 22.

 

He also noted that once completed, the office will serve as the operational hub for all BJP activities in the state. The construction work is expected to be finished within two years, with a target to complete the building within that time frame. He invited everyone to join the ceremony on December 22 to mark this significant occasion.

 

Mukul Roy, the Barjala Mandal President, expressed his excitement about the long-awaited project finally taking off. He further emphasized the joy of the BJP workers, as the foundation stone will be laid by the Union Home Minister, which adds even greater significance and enthusiasm to the event. The new office is seen as a milestone for the BJP’s growing presence and infrastructure in Tripura.
