Agartala: Nov 04: Unemployed candidates who have passed the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) are staging protests to voice their frustration over delays in the recruitment process. Despite a significant shortage of teachers in schools, the state government has yet to initiate hiring, leaving many qualified candidates in limbo. The lack of action has sparked widespread dissatisfaction among those eager to contribute to the education sector.

Protesters argue that timely recruitment is essential to address the pressing need for educators and ensure quality education for students. They have repeatedly called on the state government and the Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB) to respond to their demands, but their appeals have largely gone unanswered.

The candidates are urging the authorities to prioritize their recruitment, emphasizing that many have invested considerable time and resources in preparing for the TET, only to face uncertainty regarding employment opportunities. Their protests aim to draw attention to the critical situation and push for immediate action from the government. As the impasse continues, the candidates remain resolute in their demand for transparency and accountability in the recruitment process, hoping to secure their positions in the classrooms where they are desperately needed.
