Allegedly, in the afternoon, Apan Debnath’s 7-year-old daughter got into a dispute with her brother in the guise of playing. On seeing this incident, Apan Debnath’s brother Nimai Debnath allegedly brought rubber acid from the house and poured it on the seven-year-old girl instead of settling the quarrel between the minors. Then the girl’s father Apan Debnath came running screaming. Nimai Debnath threw rubber acid on his brother Apan Debnath’s body when he hugged her daughter on the spot to save her from Nimai Debnath. Apan Debnath was seriously injured on the spot. He was immediately brought to Belonia Sub-Divisional Hospital. Currently, Apan Debnath is undergoing treatment at Belonia Hospital under the supervision of a doctor.
