Two NLFT fighters surrender before BSF

Agartala, Dec 30 : Two unlisted militants of NLFT (Vishwa Mohan) group surrendered to BSF today. They surrendered at Border Out Post (BOP) RC Nath area under Chamnu in Dhalai. BSF Tripura Frontier Public Relations Officer gave this news in a statement.

Prahar Joy Tripura and Debjoy Tripura, residents of Thalchra area of Chamanur in Dhalai district, two NLFT opponents surrendered. They joined the NLFT (BM) team last October. BSF Tripura Frontier Public Relations Officer said that they have decided to surrender to leave the path of violence and adopt a normal life and join the mainstream of the country.

On this day, he also said in a statement that the state has been identified as hostile for the past few decades. Several cadres of the NLFT (Vishwa Mohan) group have recently chosen to return to the mainstream of society due to the efforts of the central agencies and state authorities.
