The students claimed that nearly 80% of students from these two colleges had failed the first semester. They demanded a clarification on why the results were declared so late and why such a large number of students had failed.

The College Tilla police station reached the spot, but were unable to control the situation. Later, the university authorities held a discussion with the students regarding the matter.
