Tripura University accused of sexually harassing a student in the name of Viba exam.
In Tripura University located in Suryamani Nagar area on Monday afternoon on June 19, a teacher of the university called a student of the university to the teacher’s room in the name of Viba exam and allegedly misbehaved with the student as well as tried to molest her. In the meantime, a deputation of students was made to Amtali police station on behalf of ABVP student body protesting in the university premises late on Monday night demanding exemplary punishment of the teacher. Although it is known that no case has been filed against the teacher regarding the demand to arrest the teacher. On Tuesday, the girl’s parents will file a case against the teacher at the Amtali police station, and the ABVP student organization will join the larger movement on Tuesday.
