Agartala, April 13: Tripura’s Transport and Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury on Monday reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to modernising educational infrastructure, stating that sustained efforts are underway to create student-friendly environments in schools across all regions.

The minister was speaking at the foundation stone-laying ceremony of new infrastructure at Ranigaon Higher Secondary School in his constituency, where he personally performed the rituals. Highlighting the government’s phased approach, Chowdhury said that development in the education sector is being carried out “one step after another” to ensure that students benefit from improved facilities conducive to learning.

He noted that the initiative forms part of a broader vision to integrate modern infrastructure into schools throughout Tripura. According to him, enhancing school infrastructure is essential not only for academic growth but also for creating an encouraging and inclusive environment for students in both urban and rural areas.

Addressing students, the minister extended his best wishes for the new academic session and upcoming examinations. He urged them to remain focused and dedicated to their studies, emphasizing that hard work, discipline, and confidence are key to achieving success. “Your commitment today will shape a brighter future tomorrow,” he remarked, motivating students to strive for excellence.

The event also highlighted the government’s emphasis on linking infrastructure development with educational empowerment. By upgrading school facilities, the administration aims to strengthen the overall quality of education and ensure equal opportunities for students across the state.

Local residents, school authorities, and community members welcomed the initiative, expressing optimism that such developments would significantly enhance learning conditions and inspire students to aim higher in their academic pursuits.
