Tripura Photojournalists Association’s biennial conference and election held

Agartala, 18th June : Tripura Photojournalists Association’s biennial conference and election of the management committee was held today at the Agartala Press Club . At the beginning of the conference, outgoing editor Ramakanta Dey presented the editorial report and annual income and expenditure account. Senior photojournalist Bikash Kole and Kamal Mitra were present on the conference stage. At the end of the conference, President Ranjan Roy thanked everyone. After the conference, the election of the management committee began. Pranab Sarkar was the returning officer on duty to conduct the election; Dulal Chakraborty and Alak Ghosh were the presiding officers. , Syed Sajjad Ali was on duty as an observer. A total of 62 members voted. After counting, the returning officer announced the names of 13 members of the elected management committee. The elected management committee members are President Praloyjit Pal, Vice Presidents Suman Deb Roy and Sajal Chakraborty, Editor Abhishek Saha, Co-Editors Biswajit Dey and Milton Dhar, Treasurer Suman Ghosh and Executive Committee members are Chinmoy Chowdhury, Bhaskar Das, Prabir Debbarma, Bishnupada the merchant, Krishanu Debbarma and Bapan Das.
