On this day, Ratan Lal Nath said that the current government is constantly working for the purpose of electricity infrastructure and multiple developments. The meeting was organized on how much electricity is required in Tripura in 2030.

According to him, this roadmap is divided into three levels: short term, medium term and long term. The task has been entrusted to the German Development Agency. Basically, a roadmap has been prepared for the necessary steps to be taken regarding electricity in the coming days.

On this day, he emphatically said that only 6 megawatts of solar power could be produced in Tripura during the previous government’s tenure. But the current government in the state has managed to generate a total of 12 MW of solar power in off-grid and on-grid in six years. Which has been twice as much solar power generation since the previous government.

He claimed that the government has planned to produce 135 MW of solar power in Tripura by 2025. Besides, the government has planned to produce 500 megawatts of solar power by 2030, he said with conviction. On this day, Nath expressed the hope that if the work is completed according to this roadmap, it will be possible to achieve great improvement in the power sector in Tripura in the coming days.
