Tripura govt announces major IAS, TCS reshuffle

The Tripura government has assigned new responsibilities to several civil servants, with the General Administration (Personnel & Training) Department issuing a transfer and posting order for nine IAS and TCS officers on November 15.

According to the order, Chiranjeev Anand, currently serving as SDM of Jampuijala, has been appointed Commissioner of Taxes, Agartala. Akinchan Sarkar, Additional Secretary in the Finance Department, has been relieved of his additional charge as Commissioner of Taxes.

Amitabha Chakma, Joint Director of the Urban Development Department, will replace Anand as the new SDM of Jampuijala. Deepak Kumar, earlier SDM of Kanchanpur, has been posted as Director of Industries and Commerce, Agartala, and will also serve as Managing Director of TIDC Ltd.

Gugulavath Sharath Nayak, SDM Kamalpur, has been appointed CEO of Ayushman Bharat, in addition to holding the charges of Executive Secretary of THPS and State Mission Director of ABDM. Mission Director NHM, Saju Vaheed A, has been relieved from these additional responsibilities.

Gideon Molsom, Deputy Director (Admin.) at AGMC & GBP Hospital, has been posted as SDM Kamalpur and EO of Kamalpur Nagar Panchayat. Ashis Biswas, Additional SDM Belonia, will now serve as SDM Kanchanpur, while Swarup K. Paul, DC at Udaipur SDM Office, has been posted as Additional SDM Belonia.

The order was issued under the signature of J. Datta, Under Secretary to the Government of Tripura.
