Agartala: May 17: Pressure is mounting on GBP Hospital, the state’s primary referral hospital, due to the high number of patients being referred from various subdivisions. In response, the government is focusing on enhancing the quality of subdivision and district hospitals to alleviate the strain on GBP Hospital.

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha made this announcement during a blood donation camp held on the 26th foundation day of Teresa Diagnostic Center. Inaugurating the camp, the Chief Minister emphasized the importance of blood donation, highlighting that there are eight blood groups in the human body. Having a sufficient stock of blood in the blood bank greatly benefits doctors and contributes to saving lives.
