Tripura CM Flags Off Special “Astha” Train from Agartala to Ayodhya

Agartala, Tripura: In a momentous event, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha inaugurated the special train service named “Astha” at the Agartala Railway Station. The train is set to connect the serene landscapes of Tripura to the sacred city of Ayodhya.

During the flag-off ceremony, CM Saha expressed his optimism about fostering cultural and spiritual ties between the two regions. The “Astha” train is not only a mode of transportation but also a bridge that unites faith and devotion.

The train’s direct route from Agartala to Ayodhya is expected to facilitate pilgrimages and enhance connectivity for devotees. Passengers will embark on a spiritual journey, traversing the picturesque landscapes of Tripura and Uttar Pradesh.

As the train embarked on its maiden voyage, CM Saha emphasized the significance of this initiative in promoting religious harmony and cultural exchange. The “Astha” train symbolizes the shared reverence and devotion that transcends geographical boundaries.

The Tripura government aims to ensure the seamless operation of this special train, providing pilgrims and travelers with a comfortable and spiritually enriching experience.
