He emphasized that the Election Commission of India mandates regular interactions with the media to uphold the principles of transparency, accountability, and public trust in the democratic process.

Prominent journalists and editors, including Manas Pal, Jayanta Debnath, Abhishek Dey, Sujit Dey, Manisha Pal Choudhury, Hirak Gupta, and Sandeep Biswas, shared insights and offered suggestions on how communication could be further streamlined during polling periods. Avishikta Lodh, Proprietor and Managing Editor of Tripura Times, was also present and participated actively in the discussions.

Media outlets represented at the session included All India Radio, Doordarshan Tripura, Tripura Times, Headlines Tripura, News Vanguard, Manush Patrika, News Today, TripuraIndia.com, and TripuraToday.com.

To conclude the event, the CEO distributed a special publication titled “India Votes – A Saga of Democracy”, reflecting on India’s electoral journey and democratic values.
