The deceased student, Tania Bardua, aged 16, was attacked around 8:30 AM by Kartik Debnath, aged 19. According to reports, Kartik stopped Tania on her way to school and, when she tried to avoid him, began stabbing her. After Tania fell to the ground, Kartik slit his own throat.

Both individuals were taken to the hospital by police and locals. Unfortunately, Tania succumbed to her injuries shortly after arrival. Kartik, in critical condition, was referred to Dharmanagar District Hospital, where he also passed away.

The families of both victims are devastated by the incident. The Sub-Divisional Police Officer, who visited the hospital, stated that the motive behind the incident is still unclear.
