Ampi, 30th of September 2023.                            To follow the 12 hours strike TMP activists of Ampi block have been found active in picketing in different places under Ampi Nagar block in Gomati Tripura today. A mega road blockade has been staged beneath the ARDD office in Ampi Nagar where a large number of TMP warriors assembled and fully blocked Teliamura-Amarpur road in Ampi. They have allowed nobody and strictly occupied the entre road. Ex. Minister Mever Kr. Jamatia and Ampi Nagar MLA Pathanlal Jamatia were present in the blockade gathering. To motivate the gathering both of them addressed the blocker participants and focussed over the essentiality of the Greater Tipraland as well as the objective of the strike. The 12 hours strike was peaceful in Ampi; no unexpected incidence has been reported. Ampi market was totally closed; no one was visible in shops except medicine shops. The vehicle movement was tally stopped. The strike was ended peacefully; there was no any kind of violation in Ampi. Some Bengali people who had joined Motha organization earlier in Ampi also accompanied the indigenous people in the blockade gathering. Amidst the other leaders there were Devraj Jamatia, Amar Pur district committee secretary, Deb Sadhan Jamatia, Ex. Ampi zonal chairman, Sanjay Jamatia, social worker, Prabir Jamatia, Ampi block TMP secretary, and many others remained present in the blockade gathering.
