TLA Monsoon Session: Three new bills will be introduced by the government.

Agartala: August 28: The Tripura Legislative Assembly is set to convene its monsoon session from September 4th to September 6th. The decision was reached unanimously during the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) meeting held today. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ratan Lal Nath informed the attendees about the session’s schedule.

During the meeting, Speaker Biswabandhu Sen, Deputy Speaker Ramprasad Pal, Ministers Ratan Lal Nath and Sushanta Chowdhury, Chief Whip Kalyani Roy, MLAs Rampad Jamatia, Animesh Debbarma, and Leader of the Opposition Jitendra Chowdhury were present. The assembly aims to address critical issues, including the extensive damage caused by recent floods.

In addition to discussing flood relief efforts, the Tripura government will introduce three bills during the three-day session. The focus remains on serving the flood-affected population and ensuring effective legislative proceedings.
