In the national capital, Delhi Traffic Police led a rally with schoolchildren to foster love for the nation and build connections between youth and law enforcement. Marchers proudly carried the Tricolour, their voices echoing with patriotic chants.

In Ramban, Jammu & Kashmir, Deputy Commissioner Mohd Alyas Khan flagged off the rally at 8 a.m. Nearly 1,000 participants, including CRPF’s 84 Battalion personnel, District Police, administration staff, students, NGOs, and locals, joined the event. The procession wound through the town with chants of ‘Jai Hind’, ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’, and ‘Vande Mataram’.

CRPF 84 Bn Commandant N. Ranbir Singh said, “India attained freedom after immense struggle and sacrifices. The Tiranga is close to our hearts, and we are ready to lay down our lives so it continues to fly high.”

In Garhwa, Jharkhand, CRPF’s 172 Battalion organised a Tiranga Yatra from its Kalyanpur HQ. Motorcycles decorated with the national flag toured key areas, spreading the message of unity and patriotism.

In Gangtok, the Har Ghar Tiranga rally saw the participation of Governor Om Prakash Mathur, Chief Minister Prem Singh, ministers, legislators, students, and citizens. The one-km march from MG Marg to Manan Kendra featured cultural performances, patriotic songs, and NCC demonstrations, creating a festive yet solemn atmosphere.

The nationwide events not only honoured India’s freedom fighters but also aimed to inspire collective pride and commitment toward the nation’s progress ahead of Independence Day.
