Agartala: Mar 17: In a significant development, three individuals of Rohingya origin were arrested at Agartala Railway Station on Sunday. The police, operating under strict surveillance following the election announcement, observed their attempt to board a long-distance train destined for another state.

The vigilance of the Government Railway Police (GRP) was piqued by the movements of these individuals. Upon apprehension and subsequent interrogation, it was revealed that they had illegally entered West Bengal from Bangladesh approximately eight years ago and subsequently relocated to Hyderabad.
