Agartala, April 21: Covid infection is increasing in Tripura as well as across the country. Naturally, this situation has everyone worried. Three more people have been infected with Corona in Tripura. With this, the number of active patients infected with Corona has increased to 18. The daily infection rate currently stands at 0.35 percent. However, the relief is that there are no reports of deaths. But, not a single patient has recovered recently.

According to the health department’s media bulletin, a total of 859 samples have been tested, 12 by RT-PCR and 847 by rapid antigen. In that, through Rapid Antigen, 3 people were found to be infected with Corona. As a result, the daily infection rate currently stands at 0.35 percent. At present there are 18 active patients of Corona in Tripura.

Incidentally, 108052 people have been infected with Corona in Tripura so far. Among them, 107028 have recovered after getting rid of the infection. Currently, the rate of corona infection in the state is 4.06 percent. Likewise, the recovery rate has been 99.05 percent. Meanwhile, the death rate was 0.87 percent. Besides, 937 people have died due to corona in Tripura so far.

In the media bulletin of the health department, it is also known that 2 people have been infected with corona in West district and 1 person in North Tripura district. In the remaining six districts, no new cases of corona have been reported.
