Three dead bodies from same family recovered

Agartala: Dec 01: The bodies of three members of the same family were recovered. In that incident, intense excitement spread in the area adjacent to Melaghar Thakurpara School. The police rushed to the spot after receiving the news and recovered the body and sent it to the hospital for post-mortem. It is not yet known whether the incident was a suicide or a murder. Currently, the police have started investigating the case of unnatural death.

According to the details of the incident, the dead bodies of Chintaharan Pal (70), of Melaghar Thakurpara School, his wife Pratima Pal (50) and daughter Monika Pal (20) were recovered from the same house. Although he was a potter by profession, he was currently involved in mid-day meal work at Thakurpara School. His wife Pratibha Pal also helps in this work. They also make idols at home if they get a chance.

A local resident said that Chintaharan Pal did not come to school this morning when a colleague went to his house and called him. But as they did not open the door, the neighbors came and opened the door. That’s when the locals found the mother, father and daughter lying on the bed. Immediately they informed the police. The police recovered the body and sent it to the hospital for post-mortem. The cause of death will be determined after an autopsy.

He also said that Chintaharan Pal’s daughter Monika cannot walk well. The girl studied till college despite many obstacles but could not finish her studies.

Police register a case of unnatural death and started investigation.
