According to a GRP officer, the trio was apprehended while loitering suspiciously at the station as they prepared to board a train to Kolkata. Their behavior raised red flags for the police, prompting an investigation. During the arrest, officers recovered both Bangladeshi and Indian currency, as well as documents confirming their Bangladeshi citizenship.

The police are now conducting further inquiries to determine the circumstances surrounding their presence in India and the purpose of their travel. This incident highlights ongoing concerns regarding cross-border movement and the need for vigilance at railway stations and other transit points.

The three individuals are set to be presented in court today, where legal proceedings will commence. The GRP emphasizes the importance of maintaining security and monitoring suspicious activities, particularly in areas with high cross-border traffic. The situation continues to be monitored closely as authorities seek to address potential illegal immigration and ensure compliance with immigration laws.
