Agartala July 21: Minister Ratanlal Nath held a press conference at the BJP office regarding the allocation of funds for ADC. But if he had said these words in the assembly, he would have fallen into the trap of law. Leader of Opposition Animesh Debbarma said this while sitting in the Assembly on Friday in reference to Minister Ratanlal Nath. After the budget session for the fiscal year 2023-24 was presented on July 7, Animesh Debbarma, the main opposition party in the state, claimed that only 2.7 percent of the budget has been allocated for the ADC.

Then on July 19, sitting at the state BJP office, the minister held a press conference and claimed that the government has kept 39.81 percent of the money in the budget for 31 percent of the people. The minister also said that after the Bharatiya Janata Party government was formed in 2018, 38.40 percent of the money was allocated to the Janjatis. But why did the members of the ruling party not open their mouths when the opposition raised this issue in the assembly? On this basis, he further said that the minister claimed that additional money had been allocated for the people. Tipra Matha never wants that because if additional money is allocated, it will be allocated from general category and OBC and SC category. And those categories of people will be deprived.

Tipra Matha’s demand is to allocate 31 percent of the money to 31 percent of the state’s tribals. He also said that as Tipra Matha, out of the budget of 27 thousand 654 crore 40 thousand rupees only 2.7 percent i.e. 6 thousand 72 crore 64 lakh 30 thousand rupees has been allocated for ADC. So if Minister Ratan Lal Nath sat in the state BJP office and answered questions directly from the opposition in the assembly without holding a press conference, it would have been recorded that day. And the opposition party said that if anyone had questioned this issue, he would have fallen into the trap of the law. So whatever can be said sitting in the party office said Animesh Debbarma. Latest Animesh Debbarma said that the government has deprived ADC in the budget of 2023-24 fiscal year. They do not give any importance to the development of the people. It is necessary to investigate this. He expressed the opinion that the people of the nation who are suffering from various problems including drinking water and electricity will come out in the form of a white paper.
