The trend of criminal incidents in the state is decreasing, claims the Chief Minister

Agartala, January 17 : Out of the 28 states, the crime rate in Tripura is on the decline. In comparison to 2022, robbery, theft and women-related incidents have decreased significantly in the last year. Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha made such a claim at a function organized on the occasion of police week celebration at AD Nagar police ground in the capital today.

On this day he said that Tripura has the third lowest crime rate. Earlier, Tripura was ranked fifth in terms of crime. Tripura ranks eighth in terms of physical grace. Moreover, Tripura ranks lowest among the 28 states in terms of property problems.

On this day, he claimed that in 2022, theft, robbery, murder and women’s violence were much more. He said that 2023 is much less.
