Agartala, November 9: Recently, students are getting addicted to drugs in various schools, colleges and universities of the state due to various reasons. So the state government is determined to bring the youth back to normal life. Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Deepak Majumdar said this while participating in an awareness rally organized by the NSS unit of Bani Vidyapeeth Girls School today.

According to him, the state government had taken an oath to make Tripura a drug free state. The state government has taken various initiatives with this aim. Regular campaign against drug addiction has been started in the state.

On this day, he said, on behalf of the state government, schools, colleges, clubs and social organizations have been called to build a drug-free Tripura. As part of this, an awareness rally has been organized today by the NSS unit of Bani Vidyapeeth Girls School. On this day, the rally started from Bani Vidyapeeth School and went around different roads of the city and ended at the school.
