The state government has given special importance to the development of tourism: Chief Minister

Agartala, August 19: The state government has given special importance to the development of tourism. A large number of tourists visited the state last year. Among them, the number of foreign tourists was also significant. On the occasion of World Photography Day, Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha has inaugurated a two-day photography exhibition at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhawan premises in Agartala from today under the initiative of Tripura Photojournalists Association.

On this day, the Chief Minister said that the subject of this exhibition is Tripura Tourism. Photographs taken by photojournalists of the state were displayed in the photo exhibition. A large number of tourists visited the state last year. Among them, the number of foreign tourists was also significant. Chief Minister thanked the entrepreneurs for organizing such photo exhibition by Tripura Photojournalists Association with emphasis on tourism.
