Agartala, November 28: Opposition leader Animesh Debbarma demanded financial assistance from the government for the rehabilitation of traders affected by the fire in Battala market. He visited Battala market today and talked to the affected traders.

Incidentally, a terrible fire broke out in Battala market on Sunday night. About 150 vegetable shops were burnt to ashes in the fire. Besides, 15 to 20 grocery shops and other shops were completely gutted in the fire. It is reported that the fire took place around 1 am.

Opposition Leader Animesh Debbarma visited the site this morning. On this day, he spoke to the affected businessmen. He demanded the state government to stand by the aggrieved traders.
