The Chief Minister of Tripura expressed his condolences.

There is only wailing and crying all around, many people line up in Odisha’s Baleshwar to give blood to those injured in the Coromandal accident. It is reported that the number of injured has crossed the threshold of more than six hundred. The death toll is more than 300 people .Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha expressed grief over this incident . The Chief Minister wished speedy recovery to those injured in this incident .And Chief Minister Sri Manik Saha posted on social media and said that the state government is keeping a close eye on this incident.

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnab along with senior railway officials went to the spot on Saturday morning as per the instructions of the Prime Minister. The central government has announced a one-time compensation of 10 lakh rupees to the families of those killed in the accident, 2 lakh rupees to the seriously injured and 50 thousand rupees to the minor injured.
