The chief minister called to prevent blood crisis

Agartala July 27: The government wants to maintain friendly relations with the people and work to solve the problem. For this all should be considered as me and our government. Only then development and development of the state is possible. This was said by Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha while inaugurating the blood donation camp organized by the Agartala Municipal Corporation Employees’ Association on Thursday.

At the blood donation camp organized at the head office of Agartala Pur Nigam, the Chief Minister said that there was an extreme shortage of blood in the blood banks during the elections. Then various departments, volunteers, social organizations and associations were invited to come forward to donate blood. Later, people from all parts came forward to donate blood in large numbers. And they are asked to continue donating blood because there is no substitute for blood.

 

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said that it is possible to save the lives of four comatose patients with one person’s blood. Regarding the blood donation camp, the Chief Minister said that the way people are coming forward to the blood donation camp is highly commendable. In the financial year 2022-23, 42 thousand units of blood have been collected by the state. According to the population, the state of Tripura has the highest number of blood donors in the country. Efforts are being made to donate blood this year as well. For this, the Chief Minister expressed his opinion that people are coming forward to donate blood in the festive mood. State BJP President Rajib  Bhattacharjee and Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Deepak Majumdar and others were also present in the camp. Later everyone visited the blood donation camp and greeted the blood donors.
