A district-level review meeting was conducted on Monday at the conference hall of the District Magistrate’s office in Dhalai, with Minister Sudhangshu Das chairing the session. The central objective of the review was to evaluate the progress of welfare schemes implemented by these three departments and to ensure that beneficiaries across Dhalai district are receiving government facilities and support within the stipulated timelines during the 2025–26 financial year. Minister Das stressed that timely delivery of benefits is crucial to maintaining public confidence in government programmes and ensuring that vulnerable communities receive the assistance intended for them.

During the discussion, officials provided updates on the current status of scheme implementation, highlighting areas where progress has been satisfactory as well as departments where delays need to be addressed. Minister Das instructed officers to identify bottlenecks and resolve them promptly to prevent disruption of services.

He also underscored the need for effective coordination among departments, noting that many welfare schemes require inter-departmental support for successful and timely execution. He urged officers to maintain regular communication and strengthen teamwork to ensure smooth functioning at every stage of implementation.

The meeting included a detailed review of ongoing infrastructure and development projects under the respective departments. Minister Das called for expediting these initiatives so that the public can witness tangible improvements in their quality of life.

Reiterating the government’s commitment to inclusive development, the minister directed officials to intensify field-level monitoring and ensure that all eligible beneficiaries—particularly those from Scheduled Tribe communities—receive their entitlements without any administrative delay.

The review meeting concluded with clear directives aimed at accelerating progress and enhancing service delivery across Dhalai district.
