Agartala September 9: Major General Gagan Deep, Additional Director of North Eastern NCC, visited the NCC camp at College Tila on Saturday. He arrived in the state on a two-day visit on Friday to review the management of NCC.

On this day, Major General Gagan Deep, Additional Director of NCC North Eastern Region was felicitated by Bir Bikram Memorial College sub unit. Later he told the media that how to further the mental and physical development of female students through NCC in the state was discussed with the chief minister along with the officials of the education department. He also said that he has visited Sarzamin today to see how the NCC is running in the colleges.

 

Besides, he knows that NCC festival will be organized in Tripura. This festival will be held for the first time in the state. He said that NCC students from all colleges of the state will come and showcase their talent in this NCC festival. A program is organized on a small scale. From officers of various paramilitary forces and college professors to in-charge staff of NCC were present.
