Agartala: Oct 30: In a festive gesture ahead of the Diwali celebrations, the Tripura Government has announced a 5% increase in Dearness Allowance (DA) and Dearness Relief (DR) for employees and pensioners. This decision was confirmed by Minister Sushanta Chowdhury following a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha.

The announcement is part of the government’s initiative to provide financial relief and enhance the purchasing power of state employees and pensioners during the festive season.
