Agartala January 12: On the occasion of the 161st birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, a program was organized by the Agartala Swami Vivekananda Club at North Abhagarhat of the capital. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp.
Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha unveiled the bust of Swami Vivekananda in front of the club. Speaking on the occasion later, the Chief Minister said that Swami Vivekananda’s birthday is a day of inspiration for youth society. Those who are youth today, are the driving force of the country in future.
Swami Vivekananda said that God resides in every human being. Everyone is born to serve others. Everyone should remember this. Everyone talks about solidarity. But people forget about this solidarity. Due to which incidents like violence, riots and arson occur. This incident would not have happened if everyone walked with the mindset of service. To pay real respect to Swamiji, one should always remember his words. No one knows what will happen in the future. But work should be done so that everyone remembers. Mindful service should be done. The chief minister said that words and deeds should match. The Chief Minister also said that to move the country forward, the society and the state should also be moved forward.
