Agartala: Jan 24: As per tradition, a Republic Day parade will be held at Rajpath, New Delhi. This year, the tableau representing the state of Tripura will be included in the parade. Six students from the state will participate in the event. On Friday, a ceremony was held at the OBC Welfare Department office to felicitate the selected students.
Minister Santana Chakma, among others, was present at the event. Speaking at the ceremony, Minister Santana Chakma expressed pride in the students’ participation in the parade at Rajpath. She encouraged the students to visit various tourist places in Delhi and requested them to share their experiences upon returning to the state.
