Agartala: April 11: In a recent election rally at Golabari Rice Mail Maidan, State BJP President Rajib Bhattacharjee addressed the crowd, shedding light on the ominous alliance between the CPM and Congress in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Bhattacharya asserted that this alliance would ultimately be forfeited.
During his speech, Bhattacharya highlighted the CPM’s 25-year rule in Tripura. He criticized the party, claiming that despite their slogans of being a “poor government,” they failed to undertake any significant projects for the welfare of the people. Instead, their policies seemed to perpetuate poverty.
In contrast, Bhattacharya praised the BJP government for its proactive approach. Under their leadership, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana facilitated housing for nearly 10 lakh residents in the state over the past six years.
The BJP leader emphasized that the people of Tripura could not rely on the CPM and Congress. According to him, the true guarantee lies with Narendra Modi. While the CPM disregarded the Raj Parivar, the BJP government extended respect to both the people and the royal family. As the Lok Sabha elections approach, Bhattacharya urged the nominated candidates to secure victory with substantial votes.
