Agartala: Sept 23:   The rural indigenous villagers are the worst victim of road woes here in different remote areas under Karbook subdivision in Gomati Tripura. Due to worst condition of the most useful road the villagers of Rambhadra Para are the great victims. As per the report, Jariham Para, Dhania Bari as well as the adjacent areas are suffering too much since last many years. As per the local report, the distance between Sindhujoy Para to Dhania Bari about 6 km road is in horrible condition. The entre distance of the road is totally damaged; it is full of potholes, broken including uncountable pits and uneven which has created great problem for the pedestrians and vehicles movement. This dilapidated state of the road is a critical hindrance for the school going students and all local village pedestrians. Some local inhabitants of the area expressed deep wrath over the concerned authority for not taking any kind of initiatve for this road maintenance. One villager named Ranajoy Reang said, “We are the worst victims of this dilapidated road. We face dangerous problem every day to walk and drive vehicles on this damaged road. Due to broken condition of the road it is very risky for vehicle movement. In rainy season we face fearful condition for pedestrians and vehicle movement. Rain water stands here and there in uncountable pits; due to not having  carpeting rain water generates heaps of mud. For not having drainage management rain water flows along the damage road and accelerating its condition more critical. We have appealed to the concerned authority to do maintenance the road many times but no body takes us seriously and neglected us. If the road is not renovated in this coming dry season then we will have boundless sufferings ahead.” As soon as possible to provide relief the victim villagers the concerned authority must visit the road and interact with the local indigenous people to take an appropriate step for solving this communication problem, demanded the local Reang indigenous people of the locality.
