Agartala, January 12: Union Minister of State Pratima Bhoumik visited ailing former councilor and prominent leftist leader Nishit Das at IGM Hospital on Friday.

On this day, he told Pratima Bhoumik that for the past few days former councilor and prominent leftist leader Nishith Das was very ill. Nishith Das has no one. Hearing that news, he went to IGM Hospital today.

According to him, the state government has extended a helping hand towards the medical expenses of Nishith Das. The state government will extend a helping hand to the oppressed people of Tripura state or those who have no one to stand by them.
