Power Minister Ratan Lal Nath Says BJP ‘Unbeatable’ Under Modi-Shah Leadership

Power Minister Ratan Lal Nath on Friday declared that as long as Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah continue to lead the nation, defeating the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is “next to impossible.” He made the remark while leading a massive celebratory bike rally in Mohanpur following the BJP’s sweeping victory in the Bihar Assembly elections. The rally, marked by intense enthusiasm among party supporters, saw the participation of more than 1,000 motorbikes.

Addressing the gathering, Nath said that voters across India—particularly women and youth—are placing their trust in the BJP because they want development, good governance, and self-reliance. He pointed to the success of various central schemes, highlighting improvements in road connectivity, national highways, education, healthcare, drinking water, and electricity supply. According to him, the government’s welfare initiatives, including free ration for the poor, have significantly improved the lives of millions.

Reflecting on past administrations, Nath said that the people of Bihar had once suffered under what he described as “jungle raj” during Lalu Prasad Yadav’s rule, while Tripura had experienced similar misrule under the Left Front. He noted that the people of Tripura brought change in 2018 by rejecting corruption and poor governance in favour of the BJP’s development agenda.

Nath described the Bihar election results as yet another validation of Prime Minister Modi’s leadership and India’s rising global stature. He asserted that the CPM has been reduced to “double zero,” Congress is losing ground, and regional parties aligning with Modi will also benefit from development-focused governance.

Concluding his speech, Nath predicted that the BJP is poised for a sweeping victory in West Bengal as well, reaffirming his belief that “BJP and Modi are unbeatable.”
