Agartala: Feb 05: A police officer died while on duty in Dharmanagar, and the cause of death is not yet known. Doctors stated that the cause will be determined after an autopsy. The initial assumption is that he died of a heart attack.

According to a doctor, the officer’s colleagues brought his body to the hospital this morning while he was on duty. Doctors examined him and declared him dead. The exact cause of death will be known after the autopsy.

 

The deceased police officer has been identified as Naveen Chandra Debbarma, aged 48. He was in charge of the EVM security room at the District Magistrate’s office in North Tripura district.
