Police  Arrested  One for Blackmailing Women with Objectionable Images

Agartala: Jan 14: A youth from Tripura has been arrested by the police for allegedly attempting to blackmail a young woman in West Bengal. The accused, Debashis Sutradhar, is from the Vivekananda Palli area in Bisramganj.

According to the complaint, Sutradhar had been attempting to blackmail the young woman for an extended period. The young woman subsequently filed a complaint at the police station, prompting the West Bengal police to travel to Tripura to apprehend the accused. On Monday evening, they visited the Bisramganj police station and, with the assistance of local police, arrested Sutradhar from the market. The Officer-in-Charge of Bisramganj police station stated that Sutradhar will be taken to West Bengal for interrogation on Tuesday.
