Agartala: July 01: In a touching gesture of compassion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has sanctioned ₹3 lakh from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF) to support Maynabala Nath, a cancer patient from Radhamadhabpur in the Kanchanpur Assembly Constituency of North Tripura District.
Maynabala Nath, who has been battling cancer for an extended period, belongs to an economically challenged family that struggled to afford the high cost of treatment. Her case gained attention when Rajya Sabha MP and State BJP President Rajib Bhattacharjee intervened and facilitated her application for financial assistance through the PMNRF.
The swift approval of the aid by the Prime Minister has brought a wave of relief and gratitude to the family. The assistance not only helps cover medical expenses but also stands as a testament to the government’s commitment to supporting vulnerable citizens.
