So students and parents of various schools are unable to accept that their beloved headmaster will be transferred and moved to another place now. Protesting against this transfer list, students and parents of Nayapara English Medium School in Dharmanagar joined mass dharna on Friday morning. They are of the opinion that if the headmaster Nandalal Bhattacharjee is transferred now, the school will suffer a huge loss.

They demanded that the headmaster should not be transferred at least till the annual examination. They claim that the school has improved tremendously since the arrival of the headmaster. So to keep this head teacher, even small students took to the streets and participated in mass protest. Students and parents appealed to political figures and administrative officials to take their demands seriously. They said that they will join a larger movement if the order of transfer of headmasters is not withdrawn.
