The work of beautifying both banks of Howrah river is going on at a fast pace It will cost one crore rupees Mainly, the two banks of the Howrah river are protected, construction of water reform roads, arrangement of sidings, roads for walking, flower gardens, lighting installation etc. are included in this project. The project is covering an area of 1.2 km and will be completed within the next two years Also, during the construction of the road, there will be no vehicle traffic on the embankment, all vehicles will run on the road below. Mayor Deepak Majumder visited the project on Wednesday, accompanied by Smart City Project Head Dr Shailes Kumar, Corporator Aditi Bhattacharya and others.
