Agartala, January 7: After a long time, the shadow of Corona has come to notice in Tripura. The number of active patients is increasing across the country. In Tripura too, one person has been infected with corona virus. This is known in the media bulletin of the health department. However, the health department claimed that there is no cause for concern. The person infected with corona is normal.
According to the media bulletin of the health department, 36 people have been tested by RT-PCR and 226 people by rapid antigen in the samples collected last January 5, out of a total of 262 people. In that, RT-PCR found corona infection in 1 person. As a result, the daily infection rate currently stands at 0.38 percent. After a long time there is 1 active patient of Corona in Tripura.
Incidentally, 108496 people have been infected with Corona in Tripura so far. Among them, 107487 have recovered after getting rid of the infection. Currently, the rate of corona infection in the state is 3.96 percent. Likewise, the recovery rate has been 99.07 percent. Meanwhile, the death rate was 0.87 percent. Besides, 939 people have died due to corona in Tripura so far.
In the media bulletin of the health department, it is also known that one person has been infected with corona in the western district. In the remaining seven districts, no new cases of corona have been reported. Currently, there are 4049 active patients with corona across the country.
