Agartala September 26: One day workshop on “Government E-Marketplace” was held on Tuesday. Finance Minister Pranjit Singh Roy was present in this workshop at Agartala Town Hall. Apart from Finance Minister Pranajit Singh Roy, Principal Secretary Pradeep Kumar Chakraborty, Additional CEO of Gem Government of India Yogendra Kumar Pathak, Additional Secretary Finance Akinchan Sarkar and other officials were present.

This summit has been organized to make the various departments of the state government more aware of the website of the Government of India for selling goods and services online and to give details about the website. The minister said that the aim of the present state government is to free from corruption and move forward through transparency. Multiple departments are rewarded for getting products and services from this website.

Officials of various departments of the state government, DDOs and others participated in it. Various topics were discussed in the workshop throughout the day. While discussing, the Finance Minister said that the work will be done according to the vision of the Prime Minister.
