One-day state committee meeting of CPM held in Tripura

Agartala, May 22: The third meeting of the CPIM state committee was held after the 11th assembly elections. CPM State Secretary and MLA Jiten Chowdhury said that the issue of how to strengthen the party was discussed in detail in today’s meeting.

A one-day state committee meeting was held in the presence of CPIM All India General Secretary Sitaram Yechury, Prakash Karat and former Chief Minister and Politburo member Manik Sarkar at the party office at Melarmath in Agartala.

CPM state secretary and MLA Jiten Chowdhury said today that the meeting of the state committee was held for the third time after the 11th assembly elections. He claimed that the state committee meeting is held every month in order to strengthen the organization in accordance with the rules. Basically, the meeting is organized today to strengthen the organization and to fix the agenda for the coming days.
