Agartala: Oct 09:      With the initiative of Naba Udai Sangha of Ampi Nagar a free eye camp has been organized here in BRC hall of Ampi Nagar today. A efficient eye specialist team from Ashvini Netralaya has come to provide free medical service to the common people of Ampi Nagar. Under the scheme of Pradhan Mantri Janakalyan Arogya Yojana all kinds of eye treatment have been provided to the poor people of Ampi. After proper eye checkup treatment Ashvini Netralaya eye specialists have provided genuine treatment to the senior citizens and given them appropriate spectacle. Many weak eye sight persons have gained spectacle through appropriate eye power checkup by the specialist. As per the report, BPL card holders have 50 percentage relief and Ayushman card holders have special scope for eye surgery in their service criteria. According to the doctors report, total 90 patients have availed free medical treatment through this programme here in Ampi BRC hall today. The doctor team has selected 18 patients for eye surgery and took them to Ashvini Netralaya in Agartala for eye operation. The Naba Udai Sangha volunteers have provided all essential assistances to the doctor team to accomplish the camp. Local public has been found happy to have free eye treatment facility here and appreciated the Naba Udai Sangha volunteers for their good job.
