NSUI gives deputation to SKM school authorities: minor suicide case

Agartala: Dec 21: NSUI has demanded a fair investigation into the unusual death of the 10th standard student. Arkadeep Mazumder, a 10th standard student of Srikrishna Mission School in the capital. It is alleged that he committed suicide after coming home from the school exam recently.
According to the incident, during the exam teacher seized a piece of paper from deceased. Deceased Arkadeep tried to explain many times that he was not guilty but the alleged teacher scolds him in front of other students and teachers. Unable to bear this insult, he committed suicide immediately retuning from school.
As soon as this incident happened, a shadow of grief fell between the teachers and classmates of the school. It is known that Arkadeep was a brilliant student. Fingers are pointing towards a school teacher behind this incident. Condemning the incident, a deputation was made by NSUI to the school authorities demanding strict punishment of the guilty through a fair investigation.
On Wednesday, a delegation led by Samrat Roy, state president of the organization, submitted the memorandum and demanded on behalf of the students. He said, if the authorities do not take any action, the organization will do what it needs to do democratically
