National Defence team calling on the Hon. Governor

Agartala: Feb 05: A team from the National Defence College (NDC), New Delhi, led by Brigadier Ramesh Raman, Secretary of NDC, called on the Hon’ble Governor of Tripura, Shri Indra Sena Reddy Nallu, at Raj Bhavan in Agartala this morning. The visit was part of the NDC’s ongoing engagement with state officials, fostering deeper collaboration between the armed forces and regional governance.

During the meeting, Brigadier Ramesh Raman and the team discussed various strategic and security-related issues, as well as the importance of strengthening national defense mechanisms in the context of the Northeast region. They also exchanged views on enhancing the role of the National Defence College in shaping future leaders of India by providing them with comprehensive insights into defense, security, and governance.

Governor Shri Indra Sena Reddy Nallu welcomed the delegation and emphasized the vital role that such interactions play in fostering a better understanding of security challenges and promoting regional cooperation. He expressed his support for the initiatives that contribute to the overall development and safety of the state, particularly in the context of national defense.

The meeting was cordial and productive, with both parties reaffirming their commitment to working together to ensure the continued progress and security of the state and the country as a whole. The visit of the NDC team highlighted the ongoing importance of such dialogues in strengthening India’s defense and governance frameworks.
