Agartala: Jan 11: On the occasion of the annual prize distribution ceremony at Bishalgarh Higher Secondary School, Member of Parliament (MP) Biplab Kumar Deb launched a strong criticism against the Indian National Congress, highlighting its historical subservience to the British and how, even after independence, the people of the country continued to face misfortune under its rule.
Addressing the gathering, Deb emphasized the importance of dreaming big in life. He cited Prime Minister Narendra Modi as an example, stating that those who dare to dream are the ones who ultimately succeed. He shared his own personal experience, mentioning that he had dreamt of becoming the Chief Minister of Tripura, which motivated him to work hard and pursue his goals. He encouraged students to not only focus on their studies but also to cultivate the habit of dreaming big. According to him, while teachers play an essential role in shaping the future of students, the support of parents and the courage of the students themselves are equally crucial in turning dreams into reality.
Deb further spoke about the ongoing efforts to rejuvenate Nalanda University, turning it into a beacon of educational excellence. However, he pointed out that such initiatives were never taken during the Congress-led government, highlighting the shortcomings of the party during its rule.
In his speech, the MP underscored the contrast between the vision of the current government and the past, stressing that the focus should now be on progress and development rather than the mistakes of the past. This speech reflected his firm belief in the need for change and progress, urging the community to work together towards a brighter future.
