Agartala: May 31: In a heartwarming gesture, MP Biplab Kumar Deb has come to the aid of a two-year-old child who suffered burns after accidentally falling into a hot pan while playing. The child’s face and other body parts were affected by the scalding incident.

The incident occurred on April 7 when the child, belonging to Arjun Tripura—a day laborer residing in Madhyam Krishnapur, Radhanagar Gram Panchayat, Rajnagar assembly constituency—encountered the unfortunate mishap. Arjun Tripura, who supports his family of five through his labor, faced a distressing situation as his child required urgent medical attention.

Former Tripura Chief Minister and Rajya Sabha MP Biplab Kumar Deb promptly intervened. His office dispatched a representative to Shantir Bazar District Hospital, where they handed over Rs 50,000 to the child’s family. This financial assistance facilitated the child’s treatment and recovery.

Thanks to Biplob Kumar Deb’s support, the child has now regained full health. He joyfully resumes playing, his usual rhythm undisturbed. In a thoughtful move, Biplab Tripura also utilized the remaining funds to plant rubber saplings on his own land, alongside fellow villagers. This initiative ensures that the trees, nurtured with Biplob Kumar Deb’s help, will benefit the child’s future.

Notably, MP Biplab Kumar Deb has consistently demonstrated compassion and commitment to social welfare. Recently, he arranged for an artificial leg for an individual who lost a limb in a road accident. His unwavering dedication to humanitarian causes continues to inspire hope and make a positive impact on the lives of those in need.
